“I am very good, but I could be better.”
“My official rating is 4.8/5.0. This is my opinion on the Razer Nari Ultimate. To start, and most importantly, they are quite good and of excellent quality, and I highly recommend them – 100%. They are very enjoyable. Let’s begin with the positive aspects of the product. The first point is that it’s a very comprehensive package; it comes with everything, including cables and guides for use. The audio is another positive aspect. It’s very pleasant and incredibly immersive when gaming or watching movies, especially within video games and, notably, horror games. You can feel the presence of something chasing you or breathing down your neck. The second point is comfort. They are quite comfortable to wear; I don’t feel any extra weight, and they don’t pull my hair. I also don’t struggle to adjust them to fit my head perfectly. The third point is Bluetooth. It’s the first time I’ve used headsets like this, and they’ve given me a lot of confidence, even though I tend to be quite skeptical about anything Bluetooth. As I mentioned before, I highly recommend them, and if you want quality, these are the best, and it’s worth buying them. Now, let’s discuss the negative points that I feel are somewhat unnecessary, but it’s important to mention the downsides as well. The first negative point is the battery and its charging system. I combine these because they are related. The headphones should have a bit more battery life; I feel that 4 hours is too short if I want to do something other than gaming, such as watching movies or listening to music. However, I believe this is due to their own power for vibrations and everything. Another issue is the cable—not that it doesn’t have a USB-C cable, but the problem is that if you use it for 4 hours, it gets discharged, and you have to connect it to another electronic device. It’s not very clear whether you can use a phone charger or if it’s mandatory to use a computer, gaming console, etc. I would have liked to know if I could connect it directly to a charger, and I don’t do it because in a power change, it could damage the battery. So, I better follow the recommendations in the manual. The third negative point, which I see more as a potential future issue, is the unnecessary wheel for adjusting the game or chat volume. I think they could have left it with buttons or something different because I feel that with its current design, it may wear out in the future, and finding a central point might become challenging due to wear and tear. As mentioned before, they could have left it more like a system with volume buttons, maybe with 3 or 5 levels for game and chat audio. I feel that there might come a point where I won’t know how to adjust that wheel to the central point. To conclude, the microphone has a peculiar issue. It seems to capture a lot of game audio, or more precisely, it picks up the voices of people around me, causing considerable echoing. The microphone itself is not bad; it’s quite good and compact, but the problem is the excessive bouncing of audio, at least in shooter games.”

    Great Headphones
I had a set of Astro A50’s that finally went bad (the mic quick working). I had them for over 4 years. After much research I decided to go with these. Not at all disappointed so far! I have to admit I was super intrigued with the haptic feedback feature. This did not disappoint. After an easy install, plug in the dongle (I have a PS4 pro) in the back and power them up, I jumped right into a game…Apex Legends. The game sounded amazing and I would venture to say just as good as my Astro’s. The fit was very comfortable. I really like the receding mic. It will work in the “in” position but others had a little hard time hearing me. I probably could turn up my mic sensitivity to fix this. but I don’t mind using it out. I mainly like being able to put it in for storage and transport. Don’t forget to hit the mute button if you don’t want your fellow gamers hearing you beg for more time to finish a round.I really experienced the haptic feedback when I jumped over to COD/CW/Zombies-Outbreak. OMG the ability to “feel” the action was a game changer. I had a player go behind my left ear and fire his weapon and I could literally “feel” the concussion of the shots!!!! Same over the other ear. I could tell, not only by sound, where something was happening but also with the feeling of the sound on that particular side!!!! AMAZING!!!I gave 4 stars for sound control because I still have a hard time hearing chat when there is a lot of action going on…i.e. warping in (Zombies) or dropping in (Apex), big fire fight or explosions…this could totally be fixed with some settings I am sure, I just haven’t found the sweet spot.Overall: a great set for, what I feel, is a great price for what you get!!!! a must have!!!!

Excellent and durable for people with a large head, good sound, meh mic
TLDR, great audio, very nice fit especially for big headed people, meh mic, meh battery life, buy it on sale if you can. I got mine for only 90 dollars. I would **not** consider spending 180 on it.I got this headset after going through two turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2s and one stealth 700 because of how horrifically flimsy the plastic is and ear muff part just breaking in the same place 3 times and it happening to a friend with a small head tooLooked into reddit posts about headsets that are wireless with a mic that have a headband good for people with a big head and saw this was considered number one. For sure withstands the testThe pros:-A steel headband with a lot of give for durability without it feeling like it’s squeezing your head and making it feel like it’s gonna pop-Excellent sound quality and directional audio-thx spacial audio is quite impressive-user friendly companion app for desktop-everything you need to plug and play with every console-ear muffs are designed to spin, which makes sure they don’t boe out and break (see video)-nice and comfortable, earpads don’t feel bad and don’t squeeze your ears-chat mixer on PC allows you to adjust between game volume and call volume-haptic feedback is excellent for immersion with single player games but just know that when it’s on and it’s mixed with the light features your headset battery will only last two hours at most, whereas if these features are off you can easily get around ten-volume wheel, power, and mute button are easy to reach-RBG lighting is customisable but again is a heavy drain on battery life for a purely cosmetic aspect-mic is truly adjustable-audio is consistent and isn’t subject to the same kind of random static, peaking, and stutters other wireless headsets have-bluetooth functionality a good 12-15 feet away from the reviewerAnd now, the Cons:Audio is slightly worse than a turtle beach stealth 700 in terms of depthIncompatible with 3rd part spacial audio apps like Dolby AtmosHeadset cannot be used wirelessly with Xbox or PS4 if you buy the PC versionLimited controls on console, including not being able to to mute your headset with the headset buttons, and quieter audio being directed into the headsetHeavy on the head. They have a lot of give but are certainly the bulkiest pair of headphones I’ve ever wornThe mic quality is incredibly finnicky and using it out of the box might as well qualify as a way to torment your friends. It always has that underlying Tin can sound, even with vocal clarity settings and all that jazz-unlike most headphones the on and off audio indicator cannot be heard if the volume wheel is down-razer app frequently updates and cannot find headset-settings for bass boosting and haptic feedback are not saved each time you turn it off-incredibly, INCREDIBLY low battery life for a 180 dollar asking price. Only about ten-twelve hours without haptic feedback or lights, about 4 with haptic feedback and about 2 with haptic feedback and lights. Takes an unreasonable amount of time to charge too.Buttons are very close together making it easy to hit the power button instead of the mic mute button- this won’t turn off your headset but you might have to feel around for a bit

I decided to do post a review for these headphones as I decided to upgrade, and couldn’t find anything substantially superior to this, surprisingly.I tried out the Sony XM5, which have amazing ANC, sound amazing on mobile but terrible on PC, and both my ears and top of my head start to hurt after 2 hours of use, and even if I take a break for a while it quickly gets uncomfortable again. So then I decided to give the Razer Barracuda Pro a go, and they sound maybe a bit better than the Nari, have very seamless transition from the dongle to Bluetooth, but the ANC is terrible, I can hear white noise, and there isn’t a huge difference compare to ANC off. They are a bit more comfortable than the Sony’s XM5, but still hurt after a few hours on the same spots. So the Nari if by far the most comfortable of the 3 (I can wear them all day with no issues), sound quality is good (I am not particularly picky). 4 years later and the only issue that I have is that the microphone quality seems to have taken a dive, my friends frequently have issues hearing me. I haven’t tried to sort it out because I just switched to my laptop’s built in mic, so it could be something fixable with a driver update or such.Would love to have a Nari with the same bluetooth capabilites as the Barracuda (so it could be used on mobile), without a microphone stick and with decent ANC. Would tick all the boxes for me.
